Delivering a seamless and efficient user experience is critical in field service scenarios. Standard Dataverse telemetry applies to field service, enabling insights into:

  • Page load performance – Optimize page loading times.
  • Client-side errors – Monitor UCI failure events, including JavaScript or control-related errors.

New UCI failure event tracking has been introduced to help detect and address client-side issues more effectively.

Enhanced Offline Sync Telemetry

There has been significant demand from Dynamics customers for comprehensive offline synchronization monitoring. To meet this need, Microsoft has introduced new telemetry features and an offline sync dashboard to track and optimize the process.

The general availability (GA) of these features now allows users to gain more detailed telemetry insights into the offline sync process. Alongside this, Microsoft has released a sample dashboard, providing a clear view of the available capabilities.

Admins can now leverage this telemetry to identify challenges, monitor offline telemetry, and optimize sync performance.

Enabling Mobile App Sync Telemetry

Microsoft has made it simple to monitor mobile app sync actions. Within the standard telemetry export options, a new Power Apps setting for mobile app sync actions is available. Enabling this feature provides visibility into Field Service mobile offline sync operations, which also applies to Power Apps mobile.
